I like naps, and love hibernating, so I was looking forward to sleeping dogs. People told me it was good. I believed them. I played the whole thing. It was a game I played. That was most of it. It promised Hong Kong triad action, action and drama, and a bunch of other action stuff, and all of that was in there.
The girl that is in all of those Judd Apatow movies was promised to be in the game, and she was there, in a way. You could date her, it was awkward. But all the kings horses and all the kings men didn't make it feel any less like a Grand Theft Auto : Griswald vacation. Yeah I know, booo this man. Well stop it, it's true.
Why not just keep it true crime? Why lean so hard on the serviceable combat? To the point where the combat is the only service worth engaging in? Why not focus on the driving? Well, don't focus on the driving. Why not tighten up the graphics on level 3, like it was on the PC? All questions.
Don't mind me, this is just one of those getting back on the pommel horse posts (my break lasted through the Olympics and I have been wanting to say "pommel horse" this whole time. It didn't go well.). Damn, should have talked about Steam Kickstarter. Whatever, had nothing that Campster didn't say better, as usual. Ah well, another day I guess.
