Issue : Games : All America CityVille

Stockton, California is a river port/agricultural city, located behind Sacramento and to the side of San Francisco. It was named "most miserable" city in the United States by Forbes Magazine in 2009, then again in 2011, which sounds harsh. But I went through puberty in Stockton, and find it easy to agree with the summation.

Especially after the loss of hammer skate, which was torn down when city officials finally located the source of children's laughter. Sleep well old friend, may your rex path to heaven be clear.

Also not helping a miserable situation is the city's filing for chapter nine bankruptcy, which allows Stockton to suspend payments to creditors until a court approves a plan that balances how much they currently make with how much they owe.

We may have found our median. Corporations, too big to fail, cities, not so much. A whole state may own a video game company soon, perhaps we will see Zynga style city management in real life. #Fort Worth, Texas, sponsored by General Electric.
